Why shared lists don't share the load
A shared to-do list still needs someone to write the list, keep it current, and point at it. The organising work — the actual mental load — stays with the same person.
Offload starts one step earlier, at the noticing. The moment something lands in your head, say it out loud. It becomes a sorted task, and when you hand it to someone, it moves to their phone and their list. Ownership transfers — not just visibility.

Let it be sorted for you
Each recording becomes separate, categorised tasks. The organising step — the invisible one — is done for you.
Hand it over properly
Send the task to the person who can do it. It arrives on their phone with a push notification, on their list, not yours.
Stop tracking it in your head
Sent → Seen → Done means you don't have to keep checking or reminding. The list lives in the app now, not rent-free in your head.
Common questions
How is this different from a shared to-do list?
Shared lists share visibility; the writing, sorting and reminding still fall on one person. Offload captures by voice at the moment of noticing, sorts automatically, and transfers each task to a specific person — so the load moves, not just the view of it.
Does my partner have to use another app?
They join with an invite link and get the Offload iPhone app. Their side is a list and a record button — there's nothing to configure, so “I didn't see it” stops being a system problem.
What if a task just sits there?
Every task shows Sent, Seen and Done honestly. Offload won't nag anyone for you, but it makes the state of things visible — which is usually the conversation that matters.
Is this only for couples?
No — the same flow works for wider family, flatmates, teammates or an assistant: anyone who can take a task off your plate.
